Terms of Service

Effective Date: August 24, 2026
Last Updated: August 24, 2026

Welcome to Wild Hare Pilates. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of WildHarePilates.com and certain services offered through the website.

Please read these Terms carefully.

Your purchase of or participation in Wild Hare Pilates classes, memberships, private sessions, semi-private sessions, or other fitness services may also be governed by a separate membership agreement, waiver and release, informed-consent document, studio policy, or other agreement.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separate agreement governing a particular Wild Hare Pilates service, the separate agreement will control with respect to that service, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

3. Booking Accounts and Mindbody

Wild Hare Pilates currently uses Mindbody for certain class reservations, cancellations, accounts, purchases, and related services.

You may be redirected from WildHarePilates.com to a Mindbody website or application. Your use of Mindbody may also be subject to Mindbody’s own terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Minors who participate in Wild Hare Pilates classes are required to have a parent or legal guardian complete a liability documents available here, or in person, prior to class. Minors under 16 require consent from a Co-Owner, please contact us at 818-350-3210 to discuss.

4. Classes, Schedules, and Instructors

Class schedules, instructors, class types, equipment, and availability may change from time to time.

Wild Hare Pilates reserves the right to:

  • Substitute instructors

  • Modify class schedules

  • Cancel or reschedule classes

  • Change class formats

  • Adjust the type or quantity of equipment used

  • Temporarily close a studio when reasonably necessary

  • Refuse participation when an instructor reasonably believes participation would present a safety concern

We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of significant schedule changes.

Wild Hare Pilates does not currently conduct background checks on employees.

5. Memberships and Automatic Renewal

All Wild Hare Pilates memberships automatically renew and are billed on a recurring basis.

Our currently published membership policy provides for a minimum initial autopay period of three months, after which memberships will continue to renew unless canceled in accordance with the applicable membership agreement and applicable law.

Before enrolling in an automatically renewing membership, customers will be provided the applicable price, billing frequency, minimum commitment, renewal terms, and cancellation information.

By purchasing an automatically renewing membership, you authorize the applicable recurring charges until the membership is canceled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

Cancellation of an Automatically Renewing Membership

Wild Hare Pilates’ current policy requests two days notice to discontinue recurring membership billing.

However, statutory cancellation rights and the specific terms of your signed membership agreement also apply and will control where they provide additional rights.

Where California law requires a particular method of cancellation, Wild Hare Pilates will permit cancellation using that method.

Since Wild Hare offers no memberships purchased online, all cancellations will be done via phone.

For assistance with membership cancellation, contact:

Phone/Text: 818-350-3210

Nothing in this section restricts any cancellation right provided by applicable California law.

6. California Health Studio Cancellation Rights

Certain Wild Hare Pilates memberships or service agreements may constitute contracts for health studio services under California law.

Applicable membership agreements will contain any cancellation notices, refund rights, relocation or disability provisions, and other terms required by California law.

These website Terms are not intended to replace those required contractual provisions or reduce any statutory cancellation or refund right.

7. Class Packages and Membership Credits

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable purchase or membership agreement:

  • Class credits are personal and may not be transferred to another person.

  • Classes included with monthly memberships must generally be used within the applicable monthly period.

  • Unused monthly class credits do not roll over unless specifically stated otherwise.

  • Applicable class credits generally expire in accordance with the terms presented at purchase.

  • Promotional, complimentary, introductory, and free classes may have additional restrictions.

  • Introductory offers are limited to eligible new clients unless otherwise stated.

Prices and package terms are subject to change for future purchases.

8. Reservation and Cancellation Policy

Wild Hare Pilates currently requires at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel a scheduled class without the reservation being treated as a late cancellation.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled class or fail to attend:

  • The class credit may be forfeited; and

  • Unlimited-membership customers may be charged the applicable late-cancellation or no-show fee, currently listed as $15.

These policies help make limited class spaces available to other clients.

Reservations and cancellations may generally be managed through the applicable Mindbody scheduling system.

Special circumstances may be considered at Wild Hare Pilates’ discretion where permitted by law.

9. Late Arrivals

Classes and private sessions currently have a 10-minute grace period.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled start time, your space may be forfeited and the session may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.

This policy exists both for class flow and participant safety, since missing warm-up, setup, or equipment instructions may increase risk.

10. Refunds

Except as otherwise required by law or specifically provided in a separate agreement:

  • Classes, memberships, and class packages are non-transferable.

  • Completed or missed classes are not refundable.

  • Late cancellations and no-shows may result in forfeited class credits or applicable fees.

  • Refunds for other purchases are subject to the terms presented at the time of purchase.

Nothing in this section limits refund or cancellation rights provided by California law.

11. Physical Activity and Assumption of Risk

Pilates and other exercise activities involve physical exertion and inherent risks, including the possibility of strains, sprains, falls, equipment-related injuries, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, and other injuries.

Participation in studio activities may require execution of a separate waiver, release, and informed-consent agreement.

You are responsible for exercising within your own capabilities and for following instructor directions.

Stop exercising and inform your instructor if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, unusual discomfort, or other symptoms that concern you.

12. Injuries, Medical Conditions, Pregnancy, and Physical Limitations

You should inform your instructor before class of relevant injuries, mobility limitations, pregnancy or postpartum status, physical restrictions, or concerns that could affect your participation.

Wild Hare Pilates instructors may offer modifications but do not diagnose medical conditions or provide medical treatment.

You should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning or continuing an exercise program if you have concerns about whether exercise is appropriate for you.

An instructor may recommend a private session, a different class level, medical clearance, or postponing participation when reasonably appropriate for safety.

13. Not Medical Advice

Information provided on WildHarePilates.com, through social media, by instructors, or during classes is provided for general fitness and educational purposes.

Wild Hare Pilates does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, physical therapy, or individualized medical advice unless expressly stated and performed by an appropriately licensed professional acting in that capacity.

Always seek appropriate professional medical advice regarding medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, rehabilitation, or other health concerns.

14. Studio Safety and Conduct

Clients must:

  • Follow reasonable instructor and staff directions

  • Use equipment only as instructed

  • Wear appropriate clothing and required or recommended footwear or grip socks

  • Treat instructors, employees, and other clients respectfully

  • Avoid disruptive, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior

  • Avoid intentionally damaging studio equipment or property

Wild Hare Pilates may refuse service, remove a participant from a class, suspend booking privileges, or terminate a membership for serious or repeated unsafe or inappropriate conduct, subject to applicable law and contractual rights.
