Pilates has been a part of my fitness regime since 2015. I first fell in love with Pilates after I started it as a rehab for my back and after my two epidurals from child labor left my back wrecked. I loved Pilates so much I left my career in the music industry and became a full time Pilates Instructor.
I started learning the classic East-Coast Style of Pilates with Master Instructor, Jill Cassady. Jill had studied and then worked for Romana Kryzanowska at Drago’s Gym for 2 years. Jill is one step away from Joseph Pilates and is recognized as the ONLY Trainer in all of California to have worked in Romana’s studio with her for years.
After completing my 8-month certification in 2005 with Pilates Technique, my education of Pilates and the human body has never stopped. I continue learning through various workshops, books and articles on pre-post-natal Pilates, back pain, misalignment issues, weight loss management and injury rehab. Along with my experience working alongside top Pilates and fitness trainers in the city, I decided the time had come to open my own Pilates studio in my own neighborhood and make everything Pilates accessible to Everyone.

Rachel Miles moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to pursue her dream of acting. After working in many independent films and plays and staying active but never really loving exercise she bought herself a reformer pilates class for her birthday and fell in love.
In 2017, after only three months of practicing pilates, she felt called to begin teaching and began the process of getting certified. Rachel has been performing since she was a child and has spent time choreographing, dancing and teaching so it seemed to all click for her. She loves the positive energy and flow of pilates in both a private and group setting.
Rachel is especially passionate about helping people find healthy ways to feel good in their bodies and deepen their connection to themselves through their pilates practice. If you’re looking for an upbeat class with some funky Berkeley energy come check her out, she can’t wait to have you in class!
Brenda has been a student of Pilates since 2005. She spent the first few years attending classes at Body Works Studio (a purveyor of the Ron Fletcher method) in her hometown Tucson, Arizona.
She moved to Los Angeles in 2007 to attend graduate school for Producing Film and Television. Immediately after earning her graduate degree, she started working on film sets and before she knew it, she was a producer working in Hollywood.
Since her career took priority, her physical fitness fell on the back burner and as a result she gained 75 pounds. At the end of 2018 she put her fitness first again by going back to studying Pilates, running, eating right, and sleeping well.
After a year, she lost all the weight she gained and felt inspired to help others discover their inner power through Pilates. She received her Pilates education from Master Trainer Maria Leone Bodyline Pilates and Fitness in Beverly Hills, CA.
Lisa fell in love with Pilates in 2007 when she was introduced to it through a friend. Having a passion for physical fitness and always looking for new challenges, she began practicing at various studios throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
What she loved most was the precision, control and coordination of the movements. She was rewarded with a sense of pride and accomplishment as she grew within the practice. Throughout the years, she has turned to Pilates to stay centered and take care of her mind, body and soul.
After the physical demands of a career in fashion merchandising, styling and window design, she began to experience lower back and shoulder issues. She once again turned to Pilates, this time as a source of rehabilitation. It was at this stage, she decided to embark on the path to becoming a Pilates Instructor. She can’t wait to see you in class!
Lisa received her Pilates certification from Master Instructor Maria Leone of Bodyline Pilates in Beverly Hills California, through the Balanced Body® teacher training program.
